This week, we’re sharing some information about an unconfirmed update to Google’s search algorithm, trends that point to a decline in traffic from organic search and what that means for SEO, and finally a recap of the yearly MozCon Digital Marketing Conference that was held this year in Seattle.
Unconfirmed Google update identified from fluctuations in search results

Organic traffic from Google down over last year
Merckle has released its annual Digital Marketing Report for 2019 where they’ve identified an 8% decline in organic search visits from Google compared to the same period in 2018.
